License and regulation are the keys to fund security. We check two facts the broker’s background with its licenses, and how trader is protected if something goes wrong.

Is EXNESS legit

Exness is regulated and holding licenses of several financial authorities, including the top-tier UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Cyprus CySEC, also recently obtained FSCA license in South Africa.

Exness still has licenses from FCA and CySEC but no longer operate trading accounts and offer trading service through these branches.

For now Exness operates only through South Africa license and additional international offering based in offshore Seychelles.

Is Exness safe

We consider EXNESS safe because it is regulated broker, but it is confusing.

Exness UK and Cyprus do not accept or operate clients any longer, the safe trading environment in now only available through newly opened subsidiary in South Africa.

Additional entity and international proposal in Seychelles we would recommend to avoid due to lack of serious regulations, also there are negative review from traders.

Exness (UK) Ltd £85,000Yes
Exness (Cy) Ltd€20,000Yes

Exness considered a safe broker because it is regulated broker.

The company operates for many years, but now there are some changes on its two main entities in the UK and Cyprus, they no longer accept clients.

So the only safe way to trade with Exness is to sign with its newly regulated South Africa branch and better avid Exness subsidiary in Seychelles that does not have strict regulations.

We recommend Exness for traders who prefer MT4 platform or copy trading. Also, signing solely with the South Africa regulated entity and make your own research as we found negative reviews from traders.
